This coffee comes to us from ALMA, a Guatemalan Blend Program based in the highlands of Guatemala. Their growing history spans three decades with the last twenty years focused on expanding partnerships with other producing families, cooperatives and associations across the region. They operate under the mission to connect producers of beautiful coffees with roasters around the world.
A sustainable approach guides sourcing practices to ensure all coffee has a home, with the intention to highlight bright, fruited coffees. ALMA means “soul” and this blend is the anchor of the project.
In an effort to make improvements at origin, $0.05 per each pound sold goes to Habitat For Humanity Guatemala to support their Smokeless Stove Program, increasing indoor air quality, improving wood-fuel efficiency and decreasing cooking time.
Sweet and chocolate-forward, we're tasting mandarin, cranberry and plum.
